Paint Warranty

Veritas Painting offers a one-year workmanship warranty covering defects in preparation or application. Material warranties follow manufacturer coverage. Weather, moisture, and misuse are excluded. If an issue arises, we inspect and make necessary repairs.

Workmanship Warranty

Veritas Painting guarantees all workmanship to be free from defects for a period of one year from the project’s completion date. This warranty covers issues resulting from improper surface preparation, application errors, or other workmanship-related concerns. If a problem arises within the warranty period, we will inspect the affected area and make necessary repairs at no additional cost to the homeowner.

Material Warranty

All paint and coating products used on your project are covered by the manufacturer’s warranty. Veritas Painting will provide information on product coverage and assist with any material-related claims. While manufacturer warranties vary, we ensure all products are high-quality, durable, and appropriate for your project. If a product defect occurs, we will work with the manufacturer to determine the best course of action.

Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty does not cover damage caused by weather extremes, moisture intrusion, structural movement, fading from sun exposure, or improper maintenance. It also excludes areas affected by vandalism, impact damage, remodeling, or previously failing coatings. Natural wear over time is expected and not considered a defect. Repairs or alterations made by anyone other than Veritas Painting void this warranty.

Maintenance Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, the property owner must perform reasonable upkeep, including cleaning painted surfaces, addressing moisture issues, and protecting areas from unnecessary wear. Failure to maintain caulking, gutters, landscaping, or drainage systems may compromise painted surfaces and void warranty protections. Proper care ensures your paint finish remains durable and performs as intended.

Warranty Service Process

If an issue arises during the warranty period, customers must notify Veritas Painting in writing with a description and photos of the concern. We will schedule an inspection to evaluate the affected areas and determine appropriate corrective action. Repairs will match the original scope and materials as closely as possible. Warranty service covers labor and materials for the warranted repair only.
